Bella and her transvestite bunny toy of which she's just not to hip on. It's hilarious and make a horrorible noise which may be why she doesn't like it one bit. She got for her birthday (from Valerie and Cheryl) but would never go near it unless we made her stay, well it is a little scarey (plus, for some reason she's never liked rubber toys).
Anyway it's now going to a new home, her German shepard buddy Skyler, he'll love it.

Whoever said that they slow down at 13, never met Bella.

Look closely and you can see the red scatches above her nose and right beside her left eye. Yes, we had a "Tom and Jerry" moment in the house last week and of all days - on Bella's Birthday. You have to understand that most weimes don't like cats and OOna for some weird reason is completely fascinated with Bella. Not the best combo. On normal days we do fine and keep the distance between them, but on Bella's birthday we had a house guest who had come into town for her party and half the house was blocked off.
Well, it kind of went down like this, it was 6 am Bella was getting up and Scott was hepling her (sometimes she needs a little helping hand in the mornings), OOna had decided to climb out of her room (yes, she has her own room where Bella can't go into, Bella gets the whole rest of the house. hey you turn 13 you get the larger space too). Anyway, Bella came around from the bedroom with Scott helping her backlegs a little, OOna had just climbed the barrier to her room, (the door to the front of the house was closed) OOna saw Bella and kind of trotted toward her Bella saw OOna and lounged like a cougar, Scott saw both and moved as fast as he could. When OOna realize Bella's intent she leaped straight up, claws out, Bella snapping the whole way. As OOna came back down Scott stuck his hand (his painting hand i might add so he must love both of the knuckleheads) between Bella face and jaws and OOna body and claws, He got the worst of it, he didn't throw OOna even though she was clawing up his arm but just carried her to the bedroom away from Bella.
OOna was fine, no scratches or anything hurt, just a little scared. Bella got to scratches as you can see, Scott was the worst for wear, took a little to stop the bleeding but he's fine now.

The crazy thing is later that day, OOna tried to get close to Bella again (she determind to be snuggle bunnies with Bella, little knuckle head). That time she simply took off. And people said that once Bella got scratched she would stop going after her or that being 13 she's to slow to catch something so fast. They obviously don't know Bella.

No OOna kitties were harmed in the taking of this picture...

The OOna kitty all tuckered out after her last round of shots at the dreaded evil vet (jk, we really love our vet, OOna made us say that).
The OOna kitty has a clean bill of health, YAY!!!! and she won't have to go back til (glup!) she gets fixed. We're not looking forward to that, the vet says that she might have to wear a small cone afterwards to keep her from pulling out her stitches. The Oona kitty will not be happy.
Her weight is the same, she's still only 4 pounds, guess evil kitty masterminds come in tiny packages. This time at the vet OOna did not like the poor sweet vet tech one bit, she made errr cougar noises everytime the vet tech tried to touch or even llok at her. Scott ennded up becoming the assistant. A funny moment in OOna land was when the vet and vet tech went to pick up the OOna kitty and she turned her head slightly toward them and went erreeeep very softly, both vet and vet tech froze and backed slowly away. We all giggled because she so tiny and that such a silly noise could make two full size humans stop so quickly. Don't mess with the OOna kitty, she was on a table and would go over and lean against Gwen or insist on being held by Gwen. We all kept looking at each other and saying, "But she's only 4 pounds."

Many evil wantabes will be quick to tell you that an good evil genius laugh is a complete waste of time. HA the fools know so little my minions, that is why i am your true evil mastermind.

“What does an evil genius laugh provide?” your simple, little human mind ask. Well, i will tell you, my lower beings, as i do not want my minions embarrassing me in front of my nemesis. Perfecting a deep throaty evil laugh is an essential part of the repertoire a complete nefarious soul. Your evil laugh tells the world to quivering at your feet and that you are in control, you and you alone are their true master, and all hope for truth, justice and a savor will come to nell, nought, nadda. Yes, a truly effective evil genius laugh is a must, my lesser than less little rub.

Remember that lung power is essential in developing your evil genius laugh. Be sure to use your whole chest as a resonating chamber, not just the upper part of your lungs, you simple minded idgit. Timbre and tone are important here, you want a deep, wholesome chortle, punctuated by carefully timed breaks between the bursts of guffaw. Nothing says you have total control like a profound guffaw filled with derision and scorn at the feebleness of your soon-to-be-crushed opponents. Remember…Practice, Practice, Practice, lung power is essential, funny looking monkey beings. Also keep in mind that screaming at your minions for hours on end will also strengthen your vocal chords enabling you to fully lengthen your evil genius laugh (oh, opps, silly me, did i say that out load) It is essential that you develop a good evil genius laugh that can go on for what will seem like an eternity.

The fire pit we dug just for the party (we'll be using it many more times after this since it turned out so awesome).
It took us roughly (on & off) about two weeks to dig, 44" wide, 30" deep with 20" of gravel (the area dug around is about a foot wide, Scott plans to add stone here just ran out of time for before the party).

It really turned out great.

She absolutely loves sitting in her car so we figured it would be perfect to just pull the car down and let her sit in it all night and that's just what she did and loved every minute of it.

Bella's Birthday party was a huge success!! She had a blast, we all had a blast!
I'll try to lot the images from the party over the next few days. Bella was so excited to see so many of the people she loves come by and celebrate her becoming a teenager (heehee, well, she still acts like one).
This is the grand queen with some of her booty, we really never expected anyone to bring gifts we were just excited that so many wanted to celebrate with us. Of course, little Miss. Princess here didn't complain at all, she made out like a bandit!

So as we dive ever deeper into the dark and mysterious OOna evil mastermind's murky past we have found clues that at one point she was in league with the somewhat famous Dastardly Dan but had decide to strike out on her own because of his many unforgivable mishaps. We have also uncovered evidence (with great personal risk, i might add) that she may have had a paw in the disastrous "Kill the Rabbit" campaign of the 1950's with the bumbling Mr. Fudd. Although it is also rumored that she saved face somewhat by exposing this horrid event by being a paid advisor on the now famous "What's Opera, Doc?" (of course, making Fudd the complete baddy-bad and leaving out her own evil actions in the whole affair & Bugs mysteriously going along with this willingly....hmmmmmmmm, veeeeerrrry interesting)

Time will only tell what other evilness we may uncover by trying to understand what makes this great evil mastermind genius tick. We understand the great risk that we three face by horboring such an evil masterind and that with her OOna mindmelt we too could become a minion in her quest to TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! The countdown is up & running and we're all running around like chicken little and friends. Looks like we'll be right up against the wire getting everything ready for her big day but i think (hope may be more like it...ARE WE FREAKING CRAZY) we'll be ready in time. The backyard still isn't completely done and we start prep work on the food tonight. As you can tell, cool as a cucumber Bella is relax and kicked back thinking (like always) that her silly humans have gone off the deep end.

Bella and her after bath cream on her bedroom bed. Yes, she has her own bed for the times when she doesn't to sleep with us (it's the same heigth as our bed). The grey covered part is a folded over twin futon and the pick part is an 'Urban Sprawl' dog bed (one of the best out there, if you've not heard of it) and another dog bed inbetween covered with a quilt. Our friend Randy (who he and his partener Patrick just resued a bull-terrrier, YAY!! they'll be great parents!) doesn't call Bella spoiled, he calls her fortunate.

I smile, because really, we are the fortunate ones, not her. Thank you my love.

ok, i know people laugh and wink behind our backs about the whole OOna Mindmelt thing and that she 'reeeaaally' isn't trying to take over the world, but hey don't listen to me, nnnooooo, just sing your merry little songs and wink & nudge each other making fun of the silly artists.

So you see, we were getting ready to head out the door just the other day and Gwen grabbed the door knob which came off in her hand. Hmmmmm...yes we thought this was strange, but hey we live in an old (20's) house and something like this isn't all together unusual. Scott grabbed his tools to fix it, but there were no screws, hmmmm...even stranger. So while Scott was looking for screws, Gwen decided to go out another door to check the mail...the same thing happen(the door knob came off)....stranger still...we go check the last outside door and yes you guess it THE FREAKING DOOR KNOB FALLS OFF THIS DOOR TOO!!!!!!!!!!

So after we both stop screaming (October-Halloween-Evil Mastermind OOna Kitty In The House, you would scream too), Bella slaps us and does her weime point thing at OOna (Evil Mastermind).
THIS IS WHAT WE SAW!! This is also when we realized there was evil laughing in the air (hey, when you live with evil laughing everyday, you tend to not notice it). Luckily Scott had the camera in his hand and was able to click this photo (look closely, you can see the screws, how she got them out remains a mystery).
