ADSK - Angry Domestic Shorthair Kitty Syndrome
Does your sweet little kitty suffer from ADSK, better known as Angry Domestic Shorthair Kitty Syndrome.
Does she suddenly have outburst of meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow (speaking her mind & telling you off), does your little furry muffincakes suddenly not want to be touched, held or even see you before her. Does your little toddy-fruity furball suddenly lay down with her back to you with her tail flicking in the air and won’t acknowledge that your existence as a subspecies to her should even be in the same room.
If your little once furrball of joy suffers from any of these symptom or more (sudden Tasmanian Devil imitations or acting like Bela Lugosi and giving you the EYE) then yes, she may be suffering from ADSK!
So you ask, “What should I do if my kitty suffers from ADSK?” In short – we have no freaking clue! (ok, well maybe kissing your sweet ass goodbye might help) But worry not, dear minions for your friendly (uh, make that unfriendly) neighborhood OOna kitty evil mastermind too suffers from ADSK and her two main minions took her in to the vet to find out why the sudden rage kitty issues (had to make sure the little crazy knuckle head didn’t hurt herself or something). Well, anyway after the vet and the vet techs went screaming for cover at the sight of OOna rage kitty (they remembered her spaying, she somewhat famous at the vet now), the vet got brave and examined her. The good news is she is perfectly healthy but they said that the angry thing with little kitties sometimes just hits them for a short period of time and usually goes away. (as I type this the OOna kitty has already gotten almost back to her sweet self) The vet said that it sometimes shows up in young kitties and may be caused by stress (he said the Bella thing could have been a factor) though we mention to the vet that her anger might be from that fact that she has yet to take over the world, he simply looked at us with a raised eyebrow and then agree (after OOna gave a timely grrrr) that this too could be the cause.
So, if you little love fur is having anger issues, they too could be suffering from ADSK. Sorry no cute what to do except….hide….glup…
ps. OOna evil mastermind is now a whole 7 & half pounds!
