Could leave Santa Bella out, she just had to wear OOna's hat (as you can tell, she's sooooo excited). Definitely a perfect fit and i think we have a better chance of getting gifts too.

She loves to play hide-n-seek. She's so tiny, she run up under stuff, peek out then run up and hung (no claws, which nice) your ankle and then go streaking off. If you strat to leave, she comes running out, flops down on her side and wants you to rub her kitten belly and then starts purring like a little motor boat.

It's really rather silly & funny. Silly OOna kitty.

As much as we love our little Bella (and she means everything to us, if you can't tell), after a day like yesterday you just have to sit around and pet, kiss and love on her.

As special as every dog is (and in my book, all k9s are the tops) sometimes you get blessed with a spirt that just changes not only your life but how you look and live your life.
Bella is such special, special, special being that words always fail me when it comes to trying to describe how wonderful she is and just how bless we are. Some of our family (and maybe a friend, but friends always understand more the fam. cause, well, you choose your friends) don't get why we photograph and post about her everyday. Why we put so much effort into this, into her, why we have spent so much money on her (her med. bills over the years alone have been a small fortune - lets just say we could of gotten the largest mercedes if that gives you an idea). But what they don't understand (though our close friends always do) is what and how so very much she gives back to us.
The laughs, giggles, smiles, kisses, those looks, the times she has outsmart both of us, each time she been the life of the party, when she knows just when you need to nuzzle her, when no matter what health issue she has had she keeps fighting forward, her strength, her courage, her fearlessness, how she knows just who needs loving and when and just how share her love with everyone she meets.

If i've ever met a more perfect being, i could not tell you, for she is perfection. She is the fairy tale you always dream of.

And i say to you, for though i am still young in years i am old enough to have learned (from Bella, of course!) that if you are fortunate enough to be able to share your life with a k9, then know and truely understand just how lucky you are. Love, appreciate and cherish every second you have with them. Savor every trial, challenge and moment they bring to your life. And it doesn't matter if they are 12 mo. or 12 years, take as many freaking pictures as you can.

Love and kiss on them everyday cause they love you like no one ever will.

I didn't post about Stella when Michele and Bill lost her because, well i wasn't really posting then.

Stella lost her battle with Osteosarcoma last year and we were all completely destroyed, it came on so fast and surprising. I still miss her very much. She was Bella's twin (if a weimaraner and a german shorthair could be twins) in so many ways.
Both of them being STAR DOGS in every way, their super special personalities and the incredible way they love the silly humans that love them.

Just wanted to post this photo for i never got to then. We love and miss you little Stellabella.

We just got sad, sad news, Our Best friends, Michele and Bill just lost their wonderful and magical little Gracie. Our heart can't go out for them more.

Gracie lost her battle with bone cancer (Osteosarcoma), we are devastated even though we knew her time was short. We loved her like she was our very own and she was the most unbelievable little girl you could have ever met.
She had such strenght and courage, she was her older sister Stella's guardian (Michele & Bill lost their beautiful Stella to Osteosarcoma a year ago), and she was the kindest soul you could have ever hope to know.
She loved swimming, running through the woods (to catch a smell of whatever or whoever is could), lying on soft stuff and her Stella.

We'll miss you so much little golden angel, thank you for letting us be apart of your wonderful life.

Sometimes you're just all feet.

Bella is funny, around about when she turned 7 (5 plus years ago) she seemed to decide that she really liked have her head nuzzled. The funny thing is that you just can't simply nuzzle, she wants you to nuzzle her with your head, face against face, she even sometimes place her arm over your shoulder and will smash her face against yours the whole time bugging and grunting (yes, she knows it's not very lady like, but hey you tell her).
How do we know she like this, beside the fact she loves nuzzling upwards to 15 min. or so, she will also start her Bella bugging (that's rolling on her back, feet in air, stopping to see if anyone is paying attention and giving that silly, crazy Bella smile upside down), will lift her front feet in the air and bark. And the bark, that bark of all barks is no simple bark, it's short and quick with a touch of playfulness and when you look at her she gives you that silly grin with paw in air.
We just kind of see it as one of her silly sillies, and oh, don't dare try and go to bed without a head nuzzle, that is a definitely nono. She must recieve (by her demand) at least 10 min. of head nuzzle each from both her silly humans or no one sleeps no matter how tired anyone is.
Bella rule #4 by the way.

It's funny, to get a photo of her, because she is soooooo small, you have to lay flat on your chest and then she goes & does this cat stretch thing. Silly kitty.

I love this photo, two of my girls, just wish i could have gotten Bella in the shot (working on a shot like that, just gotta keep the dog from eating the cat).

OOna had her first vet visit this past Saturday, she got her first vac. for deworming even though her test came back negative (yay!). The vet says she's still to small to get any of her shots (she weighed in at 1.75 lbs, we thought she was more). Our vet says that we will check for FIV and the feline leukemia next round of shots in about 4 weeks.
She was really great, didn't meow or fight when they handled her, we did take some photos so we'll try to load them in the next couple of days.
