I know, i know, some of you are out there saying, "No, not me, neeevvver me, i'm too smart.", well i say yeah right, you just wait and give it time, it will happen.
After 12 years, little Miss. Supersmarts here has happen to outsmart us more times than you can shake a stick at. Yes, one little weime outsmarting two silly humans and then grinning with herself with her cleverness i'm sure.
One of these times was a day in which we had decided to do major cleaning; house and car. We flipped a coin and Scott got the house to clean and Gwen got the car to clean (somethings not right about that deal...hmmmm). Anyway, this was one of those days where little Bella had decided that there was a "Chosen One" (what we call the luck human who gets followed around everywhere they go that day), and Gwen was it. Now when you are the chosen one, your one job in Bella land is to be velco and when you have this job nothing else matters to little Miss. Princess.
Anyway, Gwen being the one cleaning the car, of course she was outside and little weime couldn't be out there helping cause (beside the fact that Bella help isn't always, well helpful) Gwen couldn't clean the car and watch the princess at the same time. Well in Bella land, the chosen one for that day could not be out of reach. First she proceeded to run around the house barking her little head off, going to every door and window just to catch sight of her Gwen, then bashing doors and windows to see if any would give (you'd be surprise what a determined weime can destroy went they put their mind to it). Besides driving Scott up the wall and not letting him get any cleaning done, the silly human decided that maybe she would be happy if she could see the chosen one even if she couldn't get to her. So, Scott opened the front door and let the crazy thing out on the front inclosed porch, making sure the the door to the outside was blocked but allowing it so she could watch Gwen in the driveway.
This kept the weime happy maybe for A MINUTE, or at least long enough for Scott to go start vacuum and to think that she had no way out. Silly, silly human he be.
Now Bella being smarter than her silly humans, figured that since noise and destruction did not get her where and what she wanted then there must be another way. And where there is Bella will, she will find a way. Ten minutes later, without making any more noise she suddenly was happily nozzling a surprised Gwen's leg as she vacuum out the car.
Now you can imagine that this freaked us both out since we live in the city on a busy street AND all the windows and doors were still closed. We were befaffled to say the least. We check everything and everywhere in the house to try and figure out how she escaped it. We had no clue, like i said all the doors were closed. Anyway we put her back on the front porch and decide to finally get back to the cleaning. Well, not more than 10 minutes more had gone by and she was back by Gwen's side out by the car. We were dumbstruck - how was she doing it. So, this time we put her back on the front porch, Gwen outside, Scott in and we watched her. She just sat and stared back at us both with an expression like "What". She wasn't going to do her magic trick while she knew we were watching, so we both pertended to go back to vacuuming, turning on the machines and then sneaking back to watch from afar. HA! This is what the little brainyack was doing. After she made sure no one was watching, she would merrily trot back through the house to the back door, reach up with her month (it's amazing what those lips of hers can do), turn the door knob and open the door and then (this is where she is a little too smart for her own good) she would turn around and close the back door behind her, making sure it clicked closed.
Man, it's a sad day when your pup-pup outsmarts you...
