She got her check-up with her major vet (she has three, long story but then again Bella's med. file is bigger than 'War & Peace' ). Her vet said she looks great except she needs to gain a little weight, nothing like a doc. telling you to eat as much as you want. The little cutie was very excited!

Yes, my sweet minions, i have called you here to prepare for my new evil plan TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! As always it is a fabulous plan that will send fear and cold chills down the noodle spines of the silly humans!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

But first, i would like to send out a very special congrats to my minion pandajill (and her sidekick Tess) for their clever but unsuccessful ‘Snoopy Snow Cone Maker’ plan. Though clever an idea it was only a true evil genius mastermind such as i could see the flaw. Yes, my minion, if only you had used a Slushee Slush Maker Machine with frozen fish goo and dried ice your plan might just had worked. But no worries, i am not mad, in fact for your effort my minion, you will get the first ever “OOna kitty evil mastermind’s assistant goldstar”, yes, yes, i know, usually my mere presence is enough for you to live off of but i felt that a tiny, flimsy paper gold star looking thing might be a good thing (silly minions must be kept happy).

So, now that the troops are happy, on to my new plan… for the pass few weeks i have been collecting green food coloring jar.Every time my humans have buy the stuff i have snuck into the kitchen and taken it in the middle of the night so that they think they have misplaced it and go buy another jar. HA, HA i have been stashing them away…though it has been hard to hide hundreds & hundreds (my humans are suckers) of little green jars from them i have finally collected enough! Now all have to do is mix the green coloring with thousands of melted marshmellows and then…Yes, you see my brilliance, don’t you…yes, yes…i then mix the green melted marshmellows with the snow…WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!...do you see my minions…the silly humans will thinks the green metled marshmellow-snow mix is really grass and they will run out to frolic in it only to become stuck in the ooy-gooy green melted marshmellows WAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! YES, I AM BRILLIANT, THERE IS NO ESCAPE FOR THE SILLY HUMANS! THE WORLD WILL SOON BE MINE! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Soon i will rule all for only i will not frolic in the green melted marshmellow goo. WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Now excuse me while i start the mixing (heehee, silly humans will never know why they are stuck in green melted marshmellow goo. pure genius, yes, yes, pure genius)...

It’s said they give you unconditional love, but I think it’s actually very conditional though so often we never understand those conditions. So much of what they really want is for you to be there, to be their rock like they want to be yours. It’s so simple and yet so many just don’t get it. It’s not about the treats, how you coo when they look at you or even the roof you provide over their head. Those are important and all but when you really love them and I mean that ‘do anything, go anywhere, jump through any hoops you have to’ kind of love, hell, they’ll live in a cardboard box if that’s where you lived. Their terms are really rather simple when you know (and so many here ‘know’ I have seen) and the rewards, well, least just say, the reward of her love…if I could take 5 years off my life and give it to her I would do it in a blink of an eye and never think twice.
She has given more to the two of us than we could ever, ever pay back to her.

So, love yours…hug them, pet them, kiss them, talk to them, just sit with them…you will be better for it, for no human can know love until they have love, really loved one such as this.

Even when she's pityful she's a cutie. the swelling in her ears is almost completely gone. YAY!!!! This is such a good thing, we were reading and sometimes when this happens the swelling doesn't go down and your little one has to have surgery to let blood out of the ear flaps and it's not a nice surgery (not that any are). So we are really, really thankful our sweet girl's ears got better.
She's definitely playing up her "aren't I pityful angle" for anything and everything she can get. We now live in a 'No Flag Zone'.

So how was your holiday weekend? Our was ok except for some little weime (who will not be named) came up with a completely new ailment after 13 years. People think we are kidding when we say Bella file at the vets takes up a file cabinet by it's self. You name it, the poor girl has had it.
This weekend it was a hematoma in her ear flaps, poor thing. We took Bella for a walk in a wooded park back around Thursday, just to stretch her legs and something got the best of her. We don't know what it was but her allergies just set off and she flapped out all night. It was so bad her ears were swollen. It was a hematoma in her ear flaps. And like i said, at 13, the girl is still finding new challenges for us. We am shocked it hasn't happened before but now she has drops and we have been putting ice packs on her ears and the vet said she should be all better in 4-5 days. Who knew that violent flapping could cause bleeding inside. We had always been so careful not to let her stick her head out the window of a moving car because their ears are so delicate and then this happens with just flapping.
Anyway, she's going to be ok, in fact the swelling in her ear has mostly gone down (the hard part is keep her from flapping out when she wanted to). So just another tip from your friendly Bella (who likes to experience everything herself first - parents of flap-ear pups just keep a close eye on the ear flapping and watch their allergies.

Many have been lead to believe that my new battle wounds are the result of a resent unfortunate desexing of my loyings. Nothing can be further from the truth, my silly humans like to make up rather ridiculous stories to try and shield the innocent from the true horror of my tales. But i won't stand for it, my silly humans have been punished and the truth will now be known even if it strikes fear in all who hear it! WAHAHAHAHA...oh, ouw, sorry must cruve evil laugh for now.
As you can see here, my fine minions, my wounds are not from some silly surgery (thought there is a vet out there and she knows who she is that i would like to have a few words with, but that's no concern of yours), but rather these are wounds from my unsuccessful attempt to hide your silly moon so that all you foolish humans would think that the tides would rush in. WAHAH..oh, wait can't evil laugh right now. Anyway, only i would have known where the moon was and every silly human would have been running around with their tails between their legs, pulling their hair out in panic. I WOULD HAVE CONTROLLED THE WORLD!!!! uh, evil laugh here. But my plan didn't quite work, the gaint waterbubble gun (it was suppost to shoot a gaint food-color blue waterbubble in the sky to cover the moon, yeah, i know, pure genius) that i had constructed in my humans backyard backfired. You see, it's hard to build a 10 story waterbubble gun every night in the total darkness and keep it hidden from the silly humans during the day. You can't beleive how many times they kept asking what the heck was under the big sheet in the backyard. I mean, the nerve, nosey humans. Anyway, with no testing my gaint waterbubble gun, it backfired and well as you can see these are clearly wounds from that, though uh...Miss. Vet Lady, i will fine out where you live...what, oh, just a friendly little greeting to some vet lady, i'm not out for any revenge or anything, honest, it was really the waterbubble thing...honest, you can trust me, remember...

You know things are not good when you get to the vet office to pick up your 4lb kitty and every single vet tech and the vet are all standing all standing 10 feet distance from the crate that holds your kitty and they all have slightly stunned looks on their faces. You also get a little nervious when you can hear (as soon as you walk into the door, i might add) the worst, most horrid sound you have heard in your life coming from the very same crate. And when walk over to stand with everyone else (at a safe distance) you begin to understand why your sweet, never harmed a fly before now 4 lb. kitty is now called HELL CAT!! by everyone in the vet office and why they all finch when you ask sheepishly, "Was she good?" Funny how much fear one little kitty can put into so many, uh did i mention that SHE ONLY 4 LBS!!!!
Well, when all you see is legs, claws, teeth and claws, oh and claws, did i say claws. The little OOna kitty looked like the Tasmanian Devil and sounded like a demon. The OOna kitty dose not like the vet and does not deal with pain well at all. All the other cats there were shrinking away from this little 4 lb terror, not to mention the humans. They drew straws as to who would put on the Hawk protection gloves and go pull her out so she could go home in a transport crate. Uh, did i mention that she was coming home with us, we were frighten. The OOna kitty was not happy to say the least.
Once the poor vet tech had gotten OOna hell kitty in her transport crate we were told to let her cool down for maybe an hour before trying to take her out so we drove around with her in the back of the subaru for an hour and when we got home and got her into her room (she now is in Bella's old Great Dane crate) she semm much calmer, even letting us touch her without freaking. The OOna hell kitty slept (we would check on her every hour) all night and has slowly gotten sweeter and sweeter, almost back to her normal self. She's got 10 days to heal before going (gulp!) back to get the stitches out. Let's just say the vet isn't looking forward to OOna's next visit...

Our sweet little evil mastermind is no longer an innocent little girl anymore. We think she went into heat yesterday. The vet had told us that we probably had another couple of weeks before this would happen and that poor little OOna kitty would not have to be fixed until the end of Nov. Well, a big opps! from the vet on that one, little miss. horny girl has tail in air ready and waiting. Good thing the sexpot, future world dominator is an indoor only girl. We are lucky so far, no screaming just the weird tail/butt in the air thing. The little evil mindbender goes in tomorrow to get the sip-sip so no food tonight...the OOna kitty will not be happy. We'll let you know how everything goes with her sip-sip, we've been told that it's a little more dangerous when they've already gone into heat so the OOna kitty's folks are completely happy with the vet right now. The little evil mastermind should be fine, her vet is one of the best in our area (even though she (vet) screwed up OOna's going in heat timetable) We feel really bad that we didn't catch it before she started, poor OOna kittys.

Sorry, the OOna kitty evil mastermind hasn't developed any new world domination plans...she kind of (sex) has (sex) only (sex) one (sex) thing (sex) on (sex) her (sex) mind (sex) right (sex) now.
